Halloween is the perfect time of year for witches and ghosts, and what better way to celebrate this scary holiday, then with making your own ghoulish creations. These 3 simple crafts are the perfect way to ring in the season with your kiddos.

Toilet Paper Mummies

What you’ll need:

  • 2 toilet paper rolls (one for the arms)
  • Toilet paper
  • Googly eyes (you can draw them on instead)
  • Tape

Step 1: Cut 1 of the toilet paper rolls to make small arms for the mummy. Once completed, use tape to attach them to the other roll.

Step 2: Next, cut toilet paper into smaller strips for the mummy’s cloth. Attach one end of the cloth onto the toilet paper roll using tape and then wrap around the roll. You can go a bunch of different directions so it adds a little texture. Add as much toilet paper as your want until you get the desired mummy effect. Tape the end to attach to the roll.

Step 3: Add eyes, and you’re done!

Witch Hats

What you’ll need:

  • Small paper plate
  • Birthday hat
  • Paint
  • Tape
  • Glitter/googly eyes/other accessories (optional)

Step 1: Make small cuts in the center of paper plate and attach to the inside of the birthday hat with tape. (See below)

Step 2: Paint hat and plate with desired color until completely covered. Allow to dry.

Step 3: Using glue, add any accessories, like eyes, ribbon, or spiders until complete.

Step 2: Glue Q-tips to construction paper.
